Work completed: In 2015, Essential Lighting Solutions completed a sitewide project that included replacing over (2,600) 1000W metal halide high bays fixtures with 8-lamp T5 high bay fixtures.  This project resulted in a 52% reduction in lighting related energy costs.

In 2021, after determining there was another opportunity to further reduce lighting related energy costs, Essential Lighting Solutions was awarded a project to replace all of the 8-lamp T5 high bays with new LED high bay fixtures.  This project resulted in an additional 48% reduction of lighting related energy costs.

In 2024, Essential Lighting Solutions was contacted by the clients Global Director of Energy and discussions began related to the installation of occupancy sensors on the existing LED high bays.  Our audit team walked the site with local management to determine the best locations for installation of the occupancy sensors without sacrificing contributing light levels.  We were contracted to install 1,600 occupancy sensors, which has resulted in a 40% reduction in lighting run time.
